Our management team of four brings over 75 years of combined experience to every project. Max Mueller
FOUNDER, PRESIDENT
Established in 2015 by Max Mueller, Mueller Custom Build was inspired by Muskoka’s beautiful terrain, sunset lake views and starry nights.
Max’s journey into custom home building began with a hands-on, self-taught approach in his earlier years. His passion for the craft drove him to learn the ins and outs of construction through personal experience. Over time, he refined his skills by apprenticing with two prominent building firms in the Muskoka area. These apprenticeships were pivotal in shaping his expertise, giving him not only technical knowledge but also a deep understanding of Muskoka’s unique building culture. Through these experiences, Max honed his ability to navigate the region's distinctive challenges, from environmental considerations to the specific demands of waterfront construction. This blend of self-driven learning and professional mentorship laid the foundation for the successful approach he brings to Mueller Custom Build today.
Max founded Mueller Custom Build out of a deep-rooted passion for building waterfront homes in Muskoka. With its pristine lakes and rugged, natural beauty, Muskoka offers endless possibilities for exceptional homebuilding. Having lived in Muskoka for the majority of his life, Max has always felt a strong connection to the area and his vision for the company is to bring clients’ dreams to life within this stunning setting.
